How a tower works
One loop of water feeds every plant.

Water and nutrients wait in the base
A reservoir at the bottom holds water mixed with plant nutrients.

A small pump lifts it to the top
On a timer, the pump sends the nutrient water up the centre of the tower.

It trickles down past every plant
Water flows down through the tower, soaking the roots in each growing pocket.
- 4
It drains back to be used again
What the roots don't drink returns to the reservoir, ready for the next cycle.
